A weekly event hosted by J. Kaye’s Book Blog to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. Well after a pretty dismal start to the reading month, I finished May with a bang, reading 4 books this week, bringing my total for the month to 10. I have a couple of reviews to catch up on, and in June the Childhoold Favourites challenge comes to an end (I still have 2 books to read) & the Royal Reviews Romance challenge begins.

Can I borrow the Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I saw the movie and enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteI recently read Benjamin Button, too. I have yet to see the movie, though.
ReplyDeleteYou need a cheerleader for Love in the Time of Cholera. I've never been much of a jumper, but I'll shout for you: Rah Rah Rah - you can do it!! (okay, yes, I'm terrible at this sort of thing...good luck anyway.)
Amanda ~ LOL thanks I need something, a threat, a bomb under me or I could just give up??
ReplyDeleteAlaine ~ it's an ebook, I can send you the link, it's not very long, that's why I read it!
Keep at it, I read Love in the Time of Cholera ages ago, I barely remember it, but I do remember I liked it, you just have to get in that right frame of mind...
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I liked Love in the time of Cholera... I am reading Royal Blood also.
ReplyDeleteAh, I must start reading Marquez again!
ReplyDeleteMonday is here again
I would like to read The Curious Case of Benjamin Button sometime, I haven't seen the movie.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Monday post
I just finished The Great gatsby by Fizgerald and enjoyed it. Can't wait to see how hoy like Benjamin Button. I may have to add it to my wish list.
ReplyDeleteY'all aren't giving me much hope on that book Love in the Time of Cholera. I've already pushed it back once, now it's going back a few more spots......
Wow! Great list of finished books and an impressive list of books you are currently reading. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteYou can do it!!! I re-read Cholera last year, and it took me weeks. It's so worth it though.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
Sharon ~ yeah I know, sorry about that LOL
ReplyDeleteMaree ~ thanks for the encouragement, I will keep going... I will!
Nice eclectic selection of reads Teddyree!
ReplyDeleteI'm not even sure how many I read this month, however I do know it was pretty abysmal. It was busy with contests and such! lol
Congrats - lol
Warm Regards
L
Dead to the World is my favorite Sookie book, I hope you are enjoying it. Good luck with Love in the Time of... I couldn't get through it. Have a great week of reading!
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad I'm not in the middle of Love in the Time of Cholera. These books help if you read them in a group I think. Alas, I have too many library books on my shelf to even think about picking that one up yet...within a few months, I'll get there. Then you'll have to cheer ME on. :D
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was a book! HMMMM... well I saw the movie and loved it.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
I thought I left a comment. Oh boy, this is going to be one of those days. I can tell.
ReplyDeleteYou have an awesome lineup!
I really want to read The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
ReplyDeleteHow do you manage to keep all those books straight? I would be too confused :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like some great titles this week!
ReplyDeleteExcellent lineup last week and this!
ReplyDeleteI need to get to Richelle's other series. I've only read SUCCUBUS BLUES and was very impressed.
Amanda ~ the way I'm going, a few months & I might still be on Love in the Time of Cholera & we can cheer each other on!! LOL
ReplyDeleteVickie ~ I thought I might try Richelle's Succubus novels next.
ReplyDeleteJenny Girl ~ its not as impressive as it looks, I'm reading 2 but I've been on them for weeks & they're very different so don't have problems getting them mixed up. The Awakening, I will just read til I finish it because it's just so good & What Katy Did is a children's book (I have a challenge to finish) The others I will start when I've finished my first 3 LOL
I haven't heard of any of the books you plan to read this week. Enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteBenjamin Button is on my TBR List.
