What Are You Reading On Monday

A weekly event hosted by J. Kaye’s Book Blog to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. I had a great week as far as reading goes but I'm still behind with reviews and blog posts *sigh*. My blog did have a makeover/tidy up courtesy of my BF Alaine - Queen of Happy Endings. Well I did help & learn, although I don't know whether Alaine would call it helping, more like whinging and demanding LOL. Thanks Alaine :-) This week, I'm going to play review catch-up (I hope), and with a bit of luck, do some more reading and blog visiting. Maybe I should tell myself no reading until reviews are done...nah, who am I kidding, I couldn't do it! ************ Books Completed Last Week: SILK DREAMS by Diana Groe - review to come GARLANDS OF GOLD by Rosalind Laker - review to come IF I STAY by Gayle Forman - loved it, review coming THE GUERNSEY LITERARY AND POTATO PEEL PIE SOCIETY by Mary Ann Shaffer & Annie Barrows - rave review coming ************ This Week's Reading List: THE SECRET by Julie Garwood - page 235 DIME STORE MAGIC by Kelley Armstrong THE LAST QUEEN by C W Gortner RING by Koji Suzuki ************ Click on the title to see my reviews for WILLOW by Julia Hoban ~ 5 stars DARK DESIRE by Christine Feehan ~ 4.5 stars KISS ME, KILL ME by Lauren Henderson ~ 3.5 stars This month on The Eclectic Reader you could win Blood Promise by Richelle Mead OR Destined For An Early Grave by Jeaniene Frost OR The Other Tudors by Philippa Jones. 1. Julie Garwood's books introduced me to the world of romance fiction. I picked The Secret off a shelf at the library and thought was a straight historical with maybe a little romance...little did I know! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

  4. Here's hoping you have an incredible journey on the "good book bus" -- I have a book pass for the book bus & the book train. I do like to ride the book limo but often get the stinky book taxi. Febreze it! LOL.

I didn't read that one of THE SECRET. I love her earlier books and loved THE WEDDING. I think I shall pull out THE BRIDE to read!! Going to do that now LOL.

  16. I really like the title SILK DREAMS, I'm looking forward to read your review on that one.

I'm joining a Norwegian blogtour this summer and the book we're reading is the Norwegian translation of IF I STAY. I have seen so many blogtours online but none here in Norway. So in early June I contacted several Norwegian publish houses with the idea and at least two of them was really interested. The first publisher is already sending out books :D

THE GUERNSEY LITERARY AND POTATO PEEL PIE SOCIETY is coming my way one day. I'm participating in Amy 's Guernsey Traveling Society. Looking forward to read your review on this one as well!
