A weekly event hosted by J. Kaye’s Book Blog to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week.
I was a bit like a chook with its head cut off last week. I couldn't decide what I felt like reading and I only read one book from my list even though when I finally settled I managed to finish 3 books.
This week is all about reviews. BF Alaine has warned me, we won't be allowed out to 'play' when she finishes uni if I'm not caught up on my reviews. I laughed and said rude versions of "as if" but I really do need to get caught up. So this week really is all about reviews. Please remind me I said that if you don't see anything that vaguely resembles a review this week.
PS. My awesome (and nagging) BF Alaine - Queen of Happy Endings who is also the Queen of getting reviews done as she finishes a book has recommended a poll to get me back on track with reviews. So, I need your help, please vote for the book you would like me to review next and fingers crossed my review slump/phobia/slackness will be over! Poll on right hand sidebar.
Don't forget if you live in U.S or Canada and you'd like to own a new CSN office chair you can enter my giveaway here.

I will be anxiously waiting for your reviews this week!!! :)
ReplyDeleteNow you've said it publicly I am going to nag you like you've never been nagged! LMAO
ReplyDeleteJust think, if you're a good girl this week next week we can go book shopping!
Ah, I know what you mean-- I've been a bit (OK, fine, more than a bit!) behind on my own reviews. I mean, I've reviewed the books sent to me, but as far as doing reviews during the dry spots I keep hitting, well.... Let's just say my review total for this year is pretty pathetic! I really do need to pick it up.
ReplyDeleteThat's it-- I'm going to make myself a deal. If I can type up one review a week, from any of the books I decide to read for that week, my reward next month will be (another) afternoon at B&N. Sounds good to me! LOL. But now you guys have got to help me stick to it! :D
Ah well.
You've got some good ones listed-- I've read Stargazer, loved it, and Evermore (again, loved!). I haven't read Graceling yet, but I really want to-- I've heard so many good things about it! :D You'll have to tell us more about it after you've read it!
Enjoy,
TBQ
Dear Book Queen, in all fairness to yourself you've read 189 books this year!!!! OMG how could anyone keep up with that!
ReplyDeleteI will however put you on my nagging list and I will nag, nag, nag until you do a review this week!! Come on what are you waiting for! Just a quickie will be fine LOL.
Sheree have promised to have one finished by the end of the day (it's not lunchtime yet her in Australia) so what about you?
LOL I don't know why I just keep laughing, nodding and grinning, like an idiot at everyone's comments but still the reviews do not come.
ReplyDeleteStaci ~ might be a long wait LMAO
Alaine ~ hmm book shopping, ok that may just do it.
TBQ ~ LOL your on! I'll be by your blog to start nagging, I mean motivating hahahee
Dear Alaine, you are dreamin luv!
ReplyDeleteIt will take me 30 mins to decide which review LMAO
Dear Wicked Lovely, I am not dreaming you said you were going to have Once Upon A Nightmare up by tonight. I can't believe you've forgotten alredy LOL.
ReplyDeletehmm that's right I do remember the Once Upon A Nightmare name being mentioned but I thought I said tonight or tomorrowish?? FINE!!
ReplyDeleteOk wash the floors or do a book review?? LMAO.
Alright, alright I'm doing it!
You better NOT be washing those floors!!!! You said tonight! If I 'drop' in and your floors are clean you're in big trouble LOL.
ReplyDeleteAFTER you've done the review for Once Upon a Nightmare you should put a poll on your sidebare with a list of books to be reviewed and ask people to vote on what they want you to review next! Then you'll know what everyone most wants to read!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant idea, Ok I'm gonna do that right now LOL
ReplyDeleteI said after you've done the review. You are just going to do that to procrastinate!
ReplyDeleteEvernight! Such a good book! I can't wait to start on Stargazer (now that I have it XD)
ReplyDeleteLexie
