  2. J.Kaye ~ it's apparently a hilarious cozy mystery. I've never read a cozy before but I thought it would be a good finish to my suspense/thriller challenge :-)

  9. I really like your list of books. Shiver is on my to-read list and one for which I am trying to decide if I want to "read" this one on audio. How are you liking the audio production (the narrator)?

As I told Alaine, I am thinking that I will start this Monday Reading Meme to help focus me a bit. My reading has been slow and few since Sept.

Currently, I am still reading An Echo In The Bone and am very much enjoying the read. Hopefully I will have a review up later this week.

  11. I like the idea of a "cozy" mystery. Sounds like a "Murder She Wrote" episode.

  12. I am interested in your review of THE LAST WIFE OF HENRY VIII ... I really have enjoyed many books around Henry and the many wives.

  13. I'm listening to what could be eferred to as a "cozy" mystery -- it's one of the Max Darling (wife Annie -- runs a book store on an island in the Carolinas) series by Carolyn Hart. Good escapism -- perfect for while you're exercising!

I'm just about done with a non-fiction book the delves into our unconscious and how it affects just about everything in life, "What You Don't Know You Know," by Kenneth Eisold. It's great for providing a better understanding of people's motives-- and it can make you much more savvy about ways in which we can be manipulated.

Happy Monday everyone! If you live in Minneapolis (I don't, but a good friend does) -- enjoy the snow!

  21. I really need to start Jeaniene's books I have the first so I have no excuse. I want to get the second though so I don't have to pause. Might as well get the third while I'm at it =)

I also have Shiver and I really want to start that too.

  24. Deanna ~ you should do this meme, I live in total chaos, lurching from one disaster & crisis to another LOL. The Monday post has helped bring a little more organisation into my life, not that I always stick to it.

The audio of Shiver was great, took me a little while to get used to Sam's voice but then, all good and the narrator of Grace is excellent. I'm looking forward to your review of An Echo in the Bone.

K & Razlover ~ I'm about 150 pages in to At Graves End and wow it's action packed.

Liz ~ will have to check out Carolyn Hart, I havent read anything of hers so thanks!

Veens ~ have finished both now and both great. Shiver was 5 star wonderful!

Mishel ~ Order the rest of the Cat & Bones books, I'm postive you won't be sorry. you definitely need book 2 to carry straight on with. Start on Shiver while you're waiting, I loved it.

Ladybug ~ Shiver was beautiful, I loved it! And Along for the Ride is my first Dessen novel and I must say I really enjoyed it. Review should be done tomorrow.
