What Are You Reading On Monday

A weekly event hosted by J. Kaye’s Book Blog to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week.

First to the big news, Alaine's daughter gave birth to a darlin boy in the wee hours of Saturday morning. Congrats and love to Kylie & her husband but also to Grandma Alaine and Aunty Annie... you're family is truly blessed xx

I only read 2 books this week but they were both great. Beautiful Creatures was seriously awesome, and I hope to share the review with you this week. So that means I read 7 books in January, not bad considering I missed the first 2 weeks of January while recovering from surgery.

Click on the titles to see my review for:

BLUE MOON by Alyson Noel

THE TWILIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS by Christine Feehan

************

Books Completed Last Week:

WOMEN OF MAGDALENE by Rosemary Poole-Carter - 4.5 stars

BEAUTIFUL CREATURES by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl - 5 stars

************

This Week's Reading List:

DEVOURED by Amanda Marrone

THE IRON KING by Julia Kagawa

GLASS HOUSES by Rachel Caine

THE CRYING TREE by Naseem Rakha - audiobook chapter 8

DESTINED  FOR AN EARLY GRAVE by Jeaniene Frost

To celebrate blogging friendships & my birthday two lucky readers can take their pick from a choice of 6 books in my Dec/Jan giveaway. Check this blog post for details. International entrants welcome.

  6. Hopefully the new Mummy and baby will be home sometime today. In the meantime I think I'm going to have a sleep. I'm so tired I can't remember what I'm doing.

Oh, that's right, I was going to say that I can't wait to read Beautiful Creatures or even just have you tell me all about it!

  12. I only need book three of the Morganville Vampires series before I start reading those. I found all the rest at my local used bookstore, but not book three. But, I can hardly wait to get to that series. It's been sitting on my shelf taunting me. LOL.

I love the list of books that you have to be read this week. Happy reading!
