It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

A weekly event hosted by Sheila from One Persons Journey Through a World Of Books to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. Thanks Sheila :-)

Well I don't know where the week disappeared to but after spending 2 days with a tummy bug, the rest of the week just flew by. I did have another lovely day scrapping with Alaine on Thursday, hopefully we can squeeze a day in this week too but depends whether Alaine has an assignment done & I have reviews done LOL. I scrapped this layout of Bella (photo taken on my i-phone on the day we adopted her in April.)
I've read some fantastic books lately so I'm really enjoying being back in the swing of reading and blog visiting again, now if I could just get the reviews under control, I'd be laughing.

And now to books ...

  5. Good luck with the reviews. Last week I focused on reviews and managed to catch up a bit - not that it'll last long.

    Saving Max looks interesting.
    Love the scrapbook page. :-)

  6. I very much enjoy Steampunk when it is integral to the plot.

I haven't finished Westerfeld's book yet, but love his concept. I've read a few where the "steampunk" was simply window dressing and those were only ho-hum.

  15. Scrapbooking is such an art! I don't know if I'd be any good at it, but I used to do the "old school" scrapbooks as a kid and loved it.

Your books sound very good...Sand in My Eyes is one I've had my eye on.

I guess I should start this Nora Roberts series!

Enjoy! And thanks for stopping by my blog.

  16. I can't wait to read your reviews. I haven't read Shiver or Linger, but I have read mixed reviews. I loved VIsion in White, hated Bed of Roses, and I thought Savor the Moment was okay. Have a great week!

  18. OK, this is the second time today I've heard the term Steampunk - what the heck does it mean??

My oldest son loved Leviathan - I haven't gotten to it yet.

Enjoy your books this week - looks like some good ones!

  19. Hi Teddyree,

I read Leviathan a couple of months back and I can't wait for the next installment in the series.

In fact, last week I readn another Scott Westerfeld book, Uglies which was even better than Leviathan IMHO!

    Here’s my Monday

  23. Glad you are feeling better Sheree!
I do enjoy viewing your scrapbook pages. I really need to get moving again with my scrapbook, but I am so far behind that it is daunting. What I ought to do is just start with this month, move forward, and fit in back months when I can. One day...

I really want to know what you think of Saving Max. The story intrigues me.

I still need to read Spirit Bound...it is sitting on piano, patiently awaiting its turn. LOL :D

Linger...oh Linger... I do need to get my hands on the book, but I am on a buying freeze at the moment. Ugh!!! I see that you are liking the read with your squeal...look forward to your review.

Hope your week is going well!!!
