A weekly event hosted by Sheila from One Persons Journey Through a World Of Books to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. Thanks Sheila.
Another busy, productive week, amongst other things, spring cleaning started, a day spent scrapping with Alaine and 3 books read ... woohoo! I love it when 2 of my all time favourite things come together, reading and scrapbooking, check out the layout below of Alaine, Annie and I participating in Dewey's 24hr Readathon last year.

13 Reasons Why was a great book...lots to talk about with that one. Your layouts totally rock!!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week of reading and doing what makes you happy!
Love your scrapbook page! I'm going to have to start doing that. Looks like you have a great lineup. Hope you have a nice week!

I loved Mockingjay...just finished it last night!
ReplyDelete13 Reasons Why was very good also...but depressing too. I cried through the last third of it!
Another wonderful list of books..
ReplyDeleteI have heard good things about 13 Reasons Why - hope it works for you...

As always, love your scrapbook page. I think I remember either you or Alaine posting about the readathon time that you guys had. Fun memories for you, I am sure.
ReplyDeleteI have not read Mockingjay...will get to it soon. Once I am done reading the book I am then for sure going to see what you think.
I look forward to your thoughts on Scarlet Lion.
Have a fantastic week Sheree!
I will be interested to know your thoughts on Scralet Lion.
What a fun scrap is that! I LOVE the pics and the layout too!
ReplyDeleteHave fun with the reads... and wishing you a good week ahead!

Still Missing and the Scarlet Lion are two books I would also love to read. Looking forward to your posts on them.
ReplyDeleteSo Mockingjay is better than Catching Fire, I like the sound of that!
ReplyDeleteLove your scrap page!
ReplyDeleteOne of the local schools in the area actually made 13 Reasons Why required reading. Even though I haven't read it, I thought that was cool.
I'm absolutely loving The Hunger Games and am disappointed that the others aren't quite as good. Scrap page looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing long lists! Makes me feel so good to see people out there READING so much!
ReplyDeleteHere is my Monday!
Hi, I'm new here! I LOVE your scrapbook page, I so wish I could do something like that!
ReplyDeleteWill you be taking part in the next 24-h challenge (October) too? It will be my first Dewey challenge and I'm looking forward to it.
Because I'm from the Netherlands, my challenge will run from Saturday 2pm until Sunday 2pm, which isn't handy, but well, it's going to be fun, for sure!
My Monday post is here http://leeswammes.wordpress.com
Oh, that is a fabulous scrapbook page! Wish I had those talents...
ReplyDeleteI love the look of some of your books...Still Missing and The Lies We Told were great reads.

That is a lovely scrapbook page. Great reading list too.
ReplyDeleteFun pictures of the readathon! You should send that to Trish from Hey Lady - Watcha reading? She organizes the readathon.
ReplyDeleteAND you read Thirteen Reasons Why. Loved that book.
Oops you are reading Thirteen reasons Why - not completed.... my bad. Still so tired. :)
ReplyDeleteI still have not read Fallen so I am glad I am not the only one. I have also heard great things about Thirteen Reasons Why. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI love the readathon pics! Have a great reading week :)
ReplyDeleteI did feel that HG 1 and 2 were much better than HG3! Glad you enjoyed it though! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI've considered reading Living Dead Girl, but it just sounds so creepy and disturbing!
ReplyDeleteFrom what I remember Thirteen Reasons Why is a pretty emotionally powerful read (although it has been a long time since I read it) - hope you enjoy!
thanks for swinging by my blog earlier, always love new visitors.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with you that Catching Fire, while very good, just wasn't as good as The Hunger Games. Always hard to beat the first novel in a series, especially when the idea is fresh and new.
Love your blog, I'm now a follower (as well as on your scrapbook site, since I do that also). Have a great reading week!
