A weekly event hosted by Sheila from One Persons Journey Through a World Of Books to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. Thanks Sheila :)
Well the boys spread their head cold germs around and even though I was the last 'man' standing I finally succumbed on Sunday, just in time for school holidays *grrr*. The eldest actually had tonsillitis so spose he's not really to blame. I finished 2 good books but I'm in two minds about 13 Reasons Why, will tell you all about it in my review.
A busy week ahead and we're off to the coast on Saturday for the Gold Coast Cup, the annual week long soccer tournament that Cal's team plays in. It's more than just the soccer; it's relaxing, sun, surf and some down-time or party time for parents :) ... can't wait. Just the one scrapbook layout last week. This is a photo of my dad and the boys and I taken last year on the morning of Anthony's 18th birthday.

That's terrible about the cold, hope you don't get the tonsillitis as well. I've almost finished Catching Fire and I've already downloaded Mocking Jay, it's such a good series. Have a good week getting ready for your holiday, or resting up in readiness for your holiday.
ReplyDeleteOhh, Chadwick! Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteI am reading Mockingjay at the moment.
Oo. that Elizabeth Chadwick book looks good - I've been meaning to check her out!

ReplyDeleteNow I REALLY want to know what you were thinking about 13 Reasons Why, because I spent most of the weekend hanging out with the author, Jay Asher. Really neat guy! I'm definitely going to check out your review!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous reading week and if you get a second stop by There’s A Book to take a look at what I’ve got planned for the week! :)
I have Saving Max.
