A weekly event hosted by Sheila from One Persons Journey Through a World Of Books to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. Thanks Sheila :)
Once again not much accomplished in the reading department but I did hold a massive garage sale with my dad which took a lot of time and effort but it was worth the pain. And Alaine and I are holding a scrapbooking sale this coming saturday as we are both drowning in supplies. I have to say I'll be glad when the week is over and I can get back to a 'normal' routine!
Wanted to share this layout I scrapped a little while ago of myself with Bella. I'm thrilled with how it turned out.
Now on to books:
You can check out my thoughts on ~
THIRTEEN REASONS WHY by Jay Asher
************
Finished last week:
THE RED QUEEN by Philippa Gregory ~ enjoyable but I loathed the main character Margaret :)
************
This Week's Reading List:
GIRL, STOLEN by April Henry ~ page 79, enjoying this one.
THE FOREVER QUEEN by Helen Hollick
PROPHECY OF THE SISTERS by Michelle Zink (audiobook) ~ chapter 15
************
Reviews still to do:
BEFORE I FALL by Lauren Oliver
THE SCARLET LION by Elizabeth Chadwick
SPEAK by Laurie Halse Anderson
FALLEN by Lauren Kate
MOCKINGJAY by Suzanne Collins
This month on The Eclectic Reader you can win a copy of Matched by Allie Condie, or Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead or The Leopard Unleashed by Elizabeth Chadwick. Check this blog post for details. Open Internationally.

ReplyDeleteI received for review Expiation by Greg Messel from Author Solutions.
ReplyDeleteYour layout is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI've gone right off Phillipa Gregory and I think its a pity she's portrayed such a biased and unbalanced picture of Margaret Beaufort.
Have a great reading week!
Garage sales can be a pain but sometimes they are so worth it. Now are you going to purchase new scrapping supplies with the money you make after selling some of your stuff? I probably woul :)
ReplyDeleteI am currently reading The Forever Queen and liking it. The Prophecy of the Sisters sounded quite good. Happy reading and enjoy your week sweetie!
P.S.
Cute scrap with you and Bella :)
It took me so long to write a review of Mockingjay - first I had to figure out what I thought of it!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy your books this week!
What a lovely scrapbook page! I don't usually particularly like brown, but I love the colors you used there.
