It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

A weekly event hosted by Sheila from One Persons Journey Through a World Of Books to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. Thanks Sheila :)

Well as we finally see some sun here in waterlogged Australia I've made the most of the dreary rain by reading heaps and tidying up my blog for 2011. I have so many wonderful books that I want to read it was hard to decide which one would get New Year honours, I'm like a kid in a candy store.

Tuesday is our puppy Bella's 1st birthday and also Alaine's son Kenzie's 12th birthday and later in the month it's mine so January is always a fun month with it still being school holidays and all.

I've posted my January giveaway -  2 winners, check it out here.

I posted reviews for:

THE RED QUEEN by Philippa Gregory

and I have quite a few scheduled for this week :)

Finished last week:

LIFE FROM SCRATCH by Melissa Ford ~ favourite read!

I AM NUMBER FOUR by Pittacus Lore (audiobook) ~ review up this week

  1. I'm excited to see your review of "I Am Number Four" - I really enjoyed that book. "Unearthly" looks fantastic! I'm currently reading "Delirium". Looks like we read many of the same books! Looking forward to your reviews.

  2. You have a good list here but it will all have to wait till I return to Melbourne. The possibility of getting to these is remote in Sri Lanka. I had such a good reading spell and now its drought! My mailbox is also up now.

  3. WOW you have been busy! Unearthly looks good. Have a great time at the coast!

  4. PS your blog looks great and ready for the new year. Love all the new books coming out in the next few months.

  5. Those look like all great books! I hope you have a great birthday month and a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I hope 2011 brings you love, laughter, friendship, happiness and of course, lots and lots of yummy books!

  6. Yay! You are reading Unearthly! Love that book.

Also excited to read you review for Happily After by Nora Roberts :)

  7. You have to get those reviews done, my Lady :P

  8. I hope that your home is not inundated by those flood waters that I see on TV.

I am completing "Great Stories from the Prairies"; I am starting to read "Hetty Dorval" by Ethel Wilson, "The Joy of a Small Garden" by Janet Gillespie, and "Love and Marriage" by Bill Cosby.

  9. Looking forward to all of your reviews to come and your reading for the week, judging by the covers alone looks off the hook!

  10. I just got Delirium this week as well! I plan to get to it in the next week or two :) Happy birthday Bella!

    My Monday is at:

  11. Fallen looks good but I have seen such mixed reviews.

    Happy Birthday Bella!

  12. That's funny you have reviews coming up for Fallen and I just reviewed it too. Happy Birthday to Bella and Kenzie!!!

  13. Love Delirium and am glad you are now enjoying sunshine. I am back to work today after winter break and am sad that my reading time will be greatly curtailed.

    Have a wonderful week!

  14. Enjoy ur reading this week!

  15. Awesome books that you want to read this week! I AM NUMBER FOUR sounds like a great read. I've been reading reviews for it, because I wasn't sure if I should get it. But I think I will like it. :) Hope it's good.
    Happy Reading to YOU.

  16. You did good reading. I could manage to read only one book.

Wish you and your family a very Happy New Year. May 2011 be filled with reading!

Here is my Monday: Mailbox/What Are You Reading? post!

  17. I liked both Beautiful Darkness and Unearthly. I'll be eager to see your review of Before I Fall. I seem to be one of a minority who just couldn't read it. My Monday Report is here. Happy reading this week!

  18. What beautiful reads you have planned for this week. I just started Soulless have much debate. On page 10 and it's a trip! Have a lovely and hopefully dry week.
