It's Monday! What Are You Reading or Not Reading?

A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. Thanks Sheila :)

Well a dismal week for reading, reviewing & blog visiting (sorry folks) but an awesome week in life:

My eldest son Anthony and his girlfriend Christine got engaged, they have been going out since year 11 high school so about 4 years.

My family were all here on the weekend for a winter festival iceskating night out that we arranged prior to Anthony announcing his engagement so it worked out well combining family time with celebrating their special news.

Anthony & Christine

Left to Right: Me, Anthony, Christine, Callum, Kevin (brother-in-law) front Narelle (my sister) & Michaela (niece)

Iceskating King George Square - Brisbane

And just a little bit of catch-up scrapbooking and lots of cooking. I promise I'll get back on track with reading, reviewing and checking out your blogs this week.

Love this photo of Callum taken Oct 2010

Scraplifted this one from Alaine because I liked it so much!

  14. Congrats to your son and his fiancee!

The Taste of Apple looks interesting, I will have to look it up. I have had Radiance on my desk for a few weeks, I feel inspired to read it now! It was a sell out book at our schools book fair this spring, all the students wanted it.
