A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. Thanks Sheila :)
I'm recovering nicely, back to the surgeon this week for sutures out and hopefully the go ahead to move my elbow.
Callum enjoyed his 18th on Tuesday & his new iPad! You can check out my post here if you're interested and here's the card I made for him.
In other exciting news, I did read my favourite book of the year so far ... Divergent by Veronica Roth and catch up on blog visiting but I've got quite a few reviews to do because I was busy loading my Kindle Fire ... oh yeah! They aren't available in Australia but Mike had a friend returning from the US so we got lucky.
My very first Kindle has been tossed aside for a Kindle Fire ... I'm thinking of calling him Bones after my favourite vampire but I'm not sure it 'fits', well not like my friend Staci's, Mr Darcy. What do you think?

I am glad you are recovering and getting your stitches removed this week! I hope you are enjoying the Kindle Fire. I didn't realize they weren't available in Australia yet. I have a regular Kindle and I love reading on it. The Fire is so popular here as a gift. My library has one that people can check out (they have to use it in the library though)..
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you loved Divergent too. I wam going to be rereading it and then starting Insurgent. I still have to read Becoming Juliet. I hope the sequel is good too. I just love that cover for After the Fog.
Have a great week!

ReplyDeleteAfter the Fog looks intriguing. I like the cover. Enjoy reading!
ReplyDeleteTake a look at what I'm reading this week!
I cringed at 'move my elbow'. Hope it all goes well! I must read Divergent, I'm getting behind the times! After the Fog looks good. I've been reading on my iphone and it is so much easier then lugging around big books, and you can read it in bed with the lights off! And a few pages in your lunch break. So cool! xx
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are recovering nicely and so jealous of your Kindle Fire but remembering back just a few months ago I thought I would never have an e-reader and I love my basic Kindle. Too many bells and whistles would probably be distracting, tee hee!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
Lori
I have been entertaining thoughts of upgrading to the KF too. Glad you were able to get one. Happy 18th to Callum. My baby turns 21 in two months. Glad you are recovering so well.
ReplyDeleteMr Darcy sure has a ring to it, Staci sure took a good one there. But I love the sound of Bones so give with it :)
