It's Monday What Are You Reading? and a Hospital Stay

A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. I love this meme ... thanks Sheila :)

Well you know what they say about best laid plans ... Monday night I landed myself in hospital for 5 days with a kidney infection so anything that wasn't already scheduled on my blog did not go up and I didn't get around to visit any bloggy friends. Sooo I'll be popping in this week while I'm home resting up ... put the kettle on :)

flowers to cheer me up

My interview with the delightful Gabrielle Kimm, author of THE LAST DUCHESS and her latest novel THE COURTESAN'S LOVER which was to be posted last Tuesday is now scheduled for this Tuesday along with giveways of both her books ... woohoo! Sorry Gaby.

  13. Sorry to hear that you were in the hospital. Whenever I am in, I have a friend bring my laptop. My hospital has internet access for patients right from their beds. Not that I want to spend any time there, but...

My Monday Report is here. Happy reading!

  15. Sorry to hear you were in the hospital last week, but glad you are home now. Hope recovery goes smoothly. I had minor surgery last week and have been stuck in the house all weekend and still have a few more days of restriction to go. At least it was a good weekend to be indoors with the a/c going. The temps were in the 90s here and it was too hot be out anyway.

I'm reading The Queen's Vow right now - I just started it and can't wait to really get into it! I really enjoy CW Gortner's writing.

    Have a great week!
