A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. I love this meme ... thanks Sheila :)
Well we're back from our 7 day cruise and already fantasising about the next one, hopefully with my boys if we can work it in with their uni and work schedules. A wonderful way to holiday even if I'd love longer in port to really enjoy the friendly locals and their culture.
Port Highlights:
Port Highlights:
Noumea: Patisserie heaven, watching friendly locals play Boule by the beach
Lifou: stunning natural beauty, snorkelling, aquamarine waters, cave jump in the dark, friendly people, yummy crepes made in the village :)
Vanuatu: have spent time here before, a truly beautiful place out of the city of Port Vila, delightful people, they live so simply and are rich in so many ways!
"a La Vieille France" ~ Noumea
Pacific Dawn docked at Noumea on sunset
Pacific Dawn moored at Lifou
Lady of Lourdes church on Lifou - very celestial with the sun behind
