It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. I love this meme ... thanks Sheila!

Well not much happened on my blog last week, I took an impromptu week off from blogging and gave myself permission to feel sad, eat comfort food, read and basically slack off but I did do a little blog visiting. So, new week ... I'm ready :)

Congrats to everyone who participated in the Dewey 24hr Read-a-thon, hope you had a ton of fun!

Finished last week:

THE SECRET KEEPER by Kate Morton ~ I was worried at first but what a great read

COMFORT AND JOY by Kristin Hannah (audiobook) ~ not as good as Magic Hour or Winter Gardens but still a magical read.

RESCUE MY HEART by Jill Shalvis ~ {heart} these guys

This Week's Reading List:

THE LOST PRINCE by Julie Kagawa ~ review copy courtesy Harlequin Teen

SUMMER BEFORE THE STORM by Gabriele Wills ~ book tour

STILL ALICE by Lisa Genova (audiobook)

  1. I want to read a Shalvis book soon! Glad The Secret Keeper turned out to be a good read. Look forward to what you thought about The Raven Boys as I just brought it home. I did not get much accomplished last week either.

  2. I really want to read Still Alice and I am curious about The Raven Boys. I'll be sure to look for your review later this week! I need to check out some of Kristin Hannah's other books too. I've only read Home Front and I really liked it.

  9. I have The Secret Keeper on my list to read...loved The Forgotten Garden and have her other two books on my shelf just waiting to be read.

I enjoyed Still Alice, but liked Left Neglected better. I'm currently listening to Love Anthony and am really enjoying it.

    Have a great week!

  14. Sometimes we all need time away. I was supposed to take part in the read-a-thon but ended up in bed sick as a dog.
