A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. I love this meme ... thanks Sheila!
It's great to have Callum home, he had a fantastic time in Banff but is rather partial to our Australian weather so he was pleased to be back.

Not sure how much reading I'll get through this week. I have a big specialist appointment this afternoon, I'm glad the months of tests and long wait for answers will be over. Also looking forward to a friend's mid-week wedding but if I do finish the two books on this week's reading list I'll be free to do some Christmas reading ... woohoo!!
I did a post for Weekend Cooking: Friend & Pumpkin Goodness ~ a novel experience! I'm a canned pumpkin virgin no longer lol

ReplyDeleteI hope all goes well with your appointment, Sheree. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you receive answers and positive news at your appointment! I'm glad your son had fun in Canada. I'm sure that I'd prefer the Australian summer to the snow too!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you've been reading some really enjoyable books. I am glad that you liked Scent of Magic. I was hoping to read it soon but I want to reread Touch of Power first so everything will be fresh in my mind.
May the news be positive! I just finished the last book of the Inn Boonsboro Trilogy, it was good. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteYay Callum is back. I must admit while I loved Canada it was not Australia :) I hope the appointment goes well and it is all good news. 2012 seems to be a rubbish year health wise for nearly everyone I know which is sad :(
ReplyDeleteHave fun at your friends wedding as well. looks like you will have a busy week.
Good luck at the doctors! Daddy Love is on my reading list as well - I'll be interested to see what you think of it
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful reading week

I'm glad you enjoyed Scent of Magic :) I'm hoping to read it soon, too! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteBest of luck at your appointment. I enjoyed your review of The Gilded Lily. The cover art is lovely. I have only read "We Were the Mulvaneys" by Joyce Carol Oates. I look forward to reading your thoughts on Daddy Love. I hope you have a wonderful week!

Hope everything goes well with the appointments...and that you're enjoying Callum's return. It's always good to have the birds come back to the nest.
ReplyDeleteDaddy Love looks intriguing, although my last JCO wasn't a favorite of mine! I think I like the family stories better than the others she writes (not sure how to categorize the last one I read!).
Thanks for visiting my blog, and have a great week.
I do hope your health dramas can get resolved so that you may fully enjoy Christmas! Have a good week! Thanks for stopping by my Monday post.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your appointments this week - sending positive thoughts your way!!!
ReplyDeleteI read the Inn Boonsboro trilogy and am bummed it's finished. I loved getting to read about the restoration of the inn - I would definitely love to stay there!
Hope you have a great week and thanks for stopping by my blog!

Crossing my fingers that your test results come back as good news!
ReplyDeleteOooh, that Oates looks intriguing, I'll have to keep my eyes open for that one.
Happy Reading!
I hope you get good news at your appointment. Will keep you in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteI hope all results bring good news for you. Enjoy your reads!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the appointment, and have a lovely week :-)
ReplyDeleteKeeping you in my thoughts and hoping you have a great week.
ReplyDeleteA lot of the blogs I visit list many, many books read each week, so it's heartening for me (me, one who has had a hard time getting just one book read per week lately) to see a blogger who lists two books as read. Sigh...I don't know how the multiple book readers get the books read with daily life thrown in the mix.
ReplyDeleteI put in an entry for the Guilded Lily, it sounds very interesting. Read your review on it. :)
I don't know about your health and whay the specialists are about for you, but I'm still sending some good wishes your way. I've been on an up and down rollercooaster health ride, myself. So good luck! and how you dance a lot at the wedding - weddings are so great for dancing!
OOH Firefly Lane on audio AND the great pumpkin adventure! :)
ReplyDeleteHope the appointment goes well.
ReplyDeleteYea for sons :) Hope the appointment went well.
ReplyDeleteI suck as a friend, just now getting to your blog and then seeing you had a doctor's appointment!!! Geesh, kick me in the arse please!! Glad that your son is home and enjoyed his snow! Hope all went well with the doctor!!
