A weekly
event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week
~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. I
love this meme ... thanks Sheila!
Well it
proved to be an interesting week. I got a good report from specialist,
improvement with heart tests and Dr and I are ecstatic with the improvement in
how I'm feeling thanks to the medication, it's beyond words to feel good again.
Woohoo to a wonderful birthday and thanks for all the birthday wishes :)
Cal took me out for birthday breakfast
Then the fallout from ex-tropical cyclone
Oswald in far north QLD arrived. Poor QLD ravaged by tornadoes and devastated
again by flooding. We rapidly back tracked on the camping trip after a night,
being on a creek with rapidly rising floodwaters wasn't very appealing.
Cyclonic winds
have caused a small amount of damage at our place, another leaking ceiling and
no power today. Insurance company will love us, it's only been 2 months since
our last storm damage claim. Minor in comparison to so many others, my
heart goes out to them but we're all safe, as are family and friends and that's
the most important thing!
There's been a
fantastic response to the Australia Day Book Giveaway Blog Hop hosted by Book'd Out & Confessions from Romaholics. I shared
my Love an Aussie Author love with some delicious giveaways
which are open to MN tonight AEST so be quick ~ enter here.
Thanks to all the
lovely people who've visited, I'm down to the last battery reserves on laptop
and iPad so I won't be able to blog visit until we have power again.
