It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. I love this meme ... thanks Sheila!

Another busy week ... being the squeaky wheel has meant some progress with insurance work but our pool is an interesting shade of fungal green ... anyone want a swim?? :)

  1. I hope you have a fantastic time on your scrapbooking retreat! Glad you enjoyed Life of Pi. I will probably watch it when it is released on DVD (I think next month). Maybe watching the movie will make me want to read the book!

I am curious about Hysteria and look forward to hearing what you think of it. I like suspenseful YA books and I must say that cover is better than the U.S one.

    1. I don't read a lot of YA suspense Christina so I'm looking forward to Hysteria, it's had mixed reviews but ... we'll see :)

I'm also reading Somebody to Love right now. I love Kristan Higgins - she always makes me laugh and then close to tears all within a few pages.

    1. I've got review books to read too, my Kristan Higgins is a just for me book so it keeps dropping down the list LOL. Not just the chemicals in the pool Nise, we've been waiting for insurance to approve a new chlorinator, it blew in the storms, 2 weeks ago :(

  5. I posted about Hysteria last week and am interested to see your thoughts. I feel like this book has been pretty divisive with people either clicking with it or hating it.

  11. I would like to see the Life of Pi. I saw the book so many times in the bookstores, but the cover was never appealing and I never gave it a second thought (as far as reading), though the name stayed on my mind. Should have been a clue. Movie trailers looked very interesting.

    Good luck with the pool...

  12. Sounds like you had a great week! I've been trying to get through Life of Pi before I see the movie, but I just can't seem to get my momentum going. Plus it keeps getting pushed aside for ARC's. Maybe one day....
