It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

For those of you wondering what I thought of Beautiful Creatures ... enjoyable, but too much crammed in making it a little disjointed. Any one else seen it? What did you think?

*Squee* I'm just about jumping out of my skin with excitement for the 2013 Australian Romance Readers Convention this coming weekend. Kristan Higgins & Rachel Vincent are two of the US authors I'm dying to meet and Nalini Singh from NZ and of course our home grown talent, the gorgeous Anna Campbell, Helene Young, Kerri Arthur, Rachel Johns just to name a few. Should be a blast, I'm going with my friend Karen who guest reviews on my blog.

    I'm jealous you are going to ARRC, unfortunately I couldn't justify the travel costs to Brisbane - maybe next year!

    How wonderful that you're going to the convention and get to see/meet authors. I wouldn't know what to say, especially in person.

    books to movies - it's weird, sometimes the movie is better than the book and sometimes the book is way better than the movie. It must be hard to adapt a book straight to a movie, if you try to include everything it would be such a long movie. I haven't read the book yet - might not, might just go straight to movie. ;)

    OHH! You finished Water Witch? I got about 25%, put it down, and didn't have the urge to pick it up again. I NEED TO FIX THIS. I think my problem is that I'm reading not for the story, but the romance, and they really aren't romancey, happily-ever-after books so I keep finding myself enormously furstrated >__<
