A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. I love this meme, it helps me stay on track ... well, most of the time. Thanks Sheila!
What a whirlwind of fun at the 2013 Australian Romance Readers Convention. Anne Gracie, Anna Campbell and Cathy Maxwell were particularly naughty, I haven't laughed so much in a long time, what a crack up. The authors from the US mentioned Australian conferences are quite intimate in comparison to the US so we had a lot of time to just chat and get photos in between speakers and panels.
I'll be doing a post or two covering the convention and book news but I just wanted to share a few photos. Meeting Kristan Higgins was such a highlight, she's truly the loveliest person, very funny and she had us in stitches with her escapades in Australia.
Karen and I with Kristan Higgins, a special hello
for my lovely friend Staci at Life in the Thumb
Rachel Vincent and I
*Squee* fan girl moment, Rachel Vincent is sooo sweet
and I loved her keynote speech
Karen and I with the gorgeous Anna Campbell, who cleaned up at the awards and encouraged us in our stalking ;) - must edit the scary eyes lol
with Cathy Maxwell, she's a hoot
Me with our very own Keri Arthur author of the brilliant Riley Jensen Guardian series
OMG Nalini Singh was awesome and so friendly
