A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. I love this meme, it helps me stay on track ... well, most of the time. Thanks Sheila!
Well it feels like I didn't read much, finishing just one book but I also re-read The Sweetest Dark by Shana Abe before reviewing it. I read it towards the end of 2012 and the release date was changed, I very rarely re-read books so that's a testament in itself.
We were going camping for the Easter break but our weather is still very unpredictable with crazy-as-storms and flash flooding so we've decided to stay home.

Better to be safe!! Our weather just doesn't seem to be cooperating. Snow, cold winds, freezing rain...hope to see the sun at least once this week!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great week of reviews coming up!
Hope the weather cooperates and you have a great time camping! I've got The Best of Us on my Kindle, but I can't find it. I think my daugher took it home with her one weekend.
ReplyDeleteYour reading list for this week looks great ... can't wait to hear more about them :)
ReplyDeleteSorry you'll be missing out on the camping trip! Here we have snow storms. We are supposed to get 4-8 inches tonight. I was really hoping we were done with this for the season...
ReplyDeleteI like Sarah Pekkanen's books but haven't read that one yet. The Forbidden Queen looks good too.
I like your list of upcoming reads. I have also read Pekkanen just not this one.
ReplyDeleteI have been hearing good things about Garr but have never read her... I should do that :)
ReplyDeleteSorry the weather kept you in-hopefully you can reschedule your camping at some point! Happy reading :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you love The Web of Deceit as much as I did!
ReplyDeleteHave a great reading week!

I love Lili St. Crow, with all the weirdness and complex characters :) I haven't read this one yet, so it'll be added to my TBR.
ReplyDeleteHere's my It's Monday post for this week. Happy reading!
I'm going to have to read something by RaeAnne Thayne...that book looks tempting. And ooh, Heart Like Mine! Can't wait.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm going to check out your reviews....and thanks for visiting my blog.
Nice choices of books. I can't wait to get to The Sweetest Dark after your comment about it. Thanks for visiting my blog. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your cancelled camping trip :( Our weather is a bit crazy right now too. It should be SPRING but we still have a ton of snow on the ground. Boo!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, I hope you enjoy all of your books :)
I've got The Wanderer on my list of books to read this week. Right now I'm just finishing up The Best Man by Kristan Higgins - so good!!! I have a bunch of her other books on my iPad so hopefully I'll get to them soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued by The Forbidden Queen - will definitely be keeping my eye out for your review on that one!
Have a great week and I hope you'll come see what I've been reading at Always With a Book.
I have so many books in my To Read pile that I am reluctant to start a series but Lady of Ashes does sound intriguing. I look forward to your review on The Forbidden Queen. I love a good historical fiction novel. I hope your weather improves for a lovely Easter. Have a great week!

Spring here in the states and we still have snow on the ground and in the forecast. I am so ready for some nice weather.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Ohh The forbidden queen sounds so good!
ReplyDeleteCurrant Creek Valley was a sweet read. I always enjoy Thayne's books; they are clean without being unrealistic.
ReplyDelete:) Teddy!!! Looks like you had a fabulous reading week! I'm looking forward to that Robyn Carr book, I just love her stories!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely reading week :) What are you reading this week @ the Brunette Librarian’s Blog
I don't seem like I'm getting much reading done lately either. If it wasn't for all the reading I did during my blogging break, I'm not sure what I would be posting about right now. Hope you are off to a great week.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize that Lili St. Crow had written another young adult....I'm guessing it's YA, since Lili St. Crow is her YA writing name. Good in a weird way? (the book?). The fact that you couldn't stop reading it is promising. I've enjoyed most of what I've read by her, so I'm going to research this book. Have a good week! :)
ReplyDeleteGood call on holding off on camping, those don't sound like potentially good conditions for it! Hope you have a lovely Easter :)
ReplyDeleteI'm really interested in seeing your Nameless review!
