It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. I love this meme, it helps me stay on track ... well, most of the time. Thanks Sheila!

Another big week, Callum has finished the 2nd year of his IT Degree at uni; very proud of him, this year he's really found his groove and got great results. He leaves this week for a month in SE Asia, backpacking with his best mate; Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, finishing with a few days in Bali. A wonderful experience but like any mum I'll be worrying about his safety ... thank goodness for free Wifi and facetime :)

Cleaning up in the garage on the weekend we found a box of treasure I must have put away after mum's funeral (letters, photos, cards, bit's & pieces special to mum.) It's mum's birthday today *blowing kisses to heaven* and lately I've been missing her terribly ... it's like she knew, perfect time to go through treasured things.

 Some more card creations :)

I'll be making more Christmas cards like this one, such a fun one to do

  4. You have a great plan there for reading for the coming week. I haven't read a Sarah JIo book yet, but plan to do so before the year is out. Thinking of you as you remember your mother on her birthday.

  5. I reviewed Pawn yesterday and have my review of Crash Into You-unfortunately didn't love them as much as I have liked previous books by the author so I hope they are more successful outings for you. Looking forward to your thoughts!

  9. How wonderful for your son...and I can relate to the worry. Even though my oldest son (who lives in Berlin) is in his forties, I still worry, since I haven't seen him in six years (except via Skype).

It is wonderful to go through treasures of those we've lost....bittersweet moments.

I am very much looking forward to Morning Glory. Enjoy your week! Here's MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES
