It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. I love this meme, it helps me stay on track ... well, most of the time. Thanks Sheila!

I had a day hanging out with my best friend and we visited Flour & Chocolate Patisserie. The sour dough bread and pumpkin, feta & spinach quiche was amazing but did we stick with these healthier options? ... ha NO, this place is famous for Gonuts (Cronuts) so we had to *cough* share a few ... heart attack on a plate but yummy for an occasional treat :)

#bookblogwalkers update #8: Felicia's Book Blog Walkers:
Hard to believe I've stuck with this for nearly 2 months, thanks Felicia and the group for the motivation & encouragement :)

Last week I walked 6 out of 7 days, 30-45 mins brisk walking and a little swimming. The nicest day was Saturday when we walked on the beach before visiting family; cool, overcast day with howling wind ... lovely break from the heat and humidity.

  11. Oh my goodness, I love Cronuts! The shop looks and sounds yummy! We have a dual bakery - one is "Karl's Quality Bakery" and "The Baker's Daughter", which are two separate but connect businesses by a father and daughter. Dad has the bakery and daughter has the chocolate shop. I think they're German or Swiss or something like that but I know they trained in Switzerland. Anyways, they have a Kronut. OMG. To die for! Yummmmmm.

Oh yeah... enjoy your reading :) I got distracted by yummies. Ha
