It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. I love this meme, it helps me stay on track ... well, most of the time. Thanks Sheila!

It's been one of those weeks, you know the weeks where nothing goes right, best made plans go right out the window and you end up chasing your tail, but going nowhere? Well that's not completely true, we did go somewhere lol ... a nice night away to celebrate my partner's birthday turned into 2 days sitting in a hospital while they sorted out why the right side of his face resembled a balloon ... CT scan showed an unusual sinus infection, unusual in the fact that he had no symptoms, other than a headache and mutant facial swelling, sorry hun :) Anyway, now that he has a diagnosis it should be a quick recovery.

#bookblogwalkers update #9: Felicia's Book Blog Walkers:

Not my best week, I think I walked 3 days out of 7 and even though it's not me sick I'm worn out and feeling kind of blah ... I've just realised it's actually easier to go, go, go because once you stop it's so hard to kickstart again ...

and here it is March ... can you believe it?

  3. I blame it on the very-weird weather. Hot (it was 80 on Sunday) and cold (it froze last night). Dry (need rain) and then humid (windows all fogged up.)

    Here's my It's Monday!

  5. Oh, those sinus infections are horrible! Hoping for a quick recovery.

I'm amazed that, in spite of everything, you still walked three days. I am so ashamed of my lazy self!

I am eagerly anticipating One Plus One...loved your review. Enjoy your week, and here's MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES

  7. Looks like some great reads. Hope your partner is on mend, strange! Sometimes the better thing is to take a rest rather than exercise! Its about listening to our body - not excusing ourselves but understanding sometimes the better thing is not to do rather than do!
