That is a lovely picture of the sunset! Winter for you means summer for me and it is starting to get hot.
ReplyDeleteThat Wendy Wax series has caught my eye. They look like perfect books for summer reading.
I am glad you enjoyed The Invention of Wings. I liked Take Me On but it definitely was not my favorite book of the series though I did like it more than I thought I would. I am happy that the next book is about Echo and Noah again.
The Beach Road series is definitely perfect summer reading, hope you get to them soon. I'm looking forward to getting back to Echo and Noah's story but I'm still hanging out for Abby's story :)

DeleteCan't wait to read Little Lies and The Collector. Also the newest from Sarah Jio and Sue Monk Kidd. Looks like you had a great reading week.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo of the beach, and I would love those fish and chips, or french fries as we call them. Yum! Of course then I would have to join your blogwalker club, ha. And yes, I want to see Maleficent, with my daughter soon.
lol Rita, I had a problem with my heart and wasn't able to exercise for 6+months so the bookblog walkers has been nice supportive way to ease back into gentle exercise. Hope you and your daughter enjoy Malificent.
DeleteSorry you were sick. Hope you recovered quick. Yes I loved Goodnight June too. What book lover wouldn't! I am in for June blogwalkers too. If I do this month that will be 6 months on the go. It's a great idea. All the best for this week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathryn, I'm much better now. Even though May wasn't a great month for me with the walking, I still like the incentive and support and 6 months participation will be an awesome accomplishment.
DeleteI forgot Winter was coming ;)
ReplyDeleteWhile here the sun almost never sets
Do you get so much more done B? lol
DeleteI definitely want to go see Maleficent and I feel critics usually aren't that positive about fantasy (or sci-fi) films anyway! I still need to read up on the Pushing the Limits series, I've only read the first one, which I loved! I hope you enjoy your reads! My Monday post
ReplyDeleteJuli @ Universe in Words
