It's Sunday/Monday: Check-In Time

Linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer and It's Monday! What are You Reading? hosted by Sheila from Book Journey

On the home front:
Good week, had a couple of fun days with sweetpea Mia, our veggie plot is going great, we've had some very early warm weather and the pool is perfect.

Watching: yay for the return of Scandal, 1st episode of Grey's Anatomy season 12 #tears #again and I still have the new episodes of Downton Abbey to look forward to. I watched the first 2 episodes of Blindspot (thanks Greg) and mostly enjoyed it, enough to keep watching anyway. Aussie Sullivan Stapleton plays FBI  agent Kurt Weller ... noice one!

  1. I just started watching Scandal on Netflix and I'm hooked. Almost done with the first season. Glad the weather is starting to warm up for you. We had our first "cold" day yesterday and I almost dug out my winter coat. Thankfully it is supposed to be warmer the rest of the week but I know it won't last. Part of living in the Midwest :)

I had to laugh at your comment about Menagerie. I thought about requesting that one for review but I admit I was worried there might be clowns too :) I look forward to your review of it!

  2. I put in a late request for The Lake House so hope I get it. (Somehow missed two months of Allen & Unwin catalogues?!).

I'm need to watch Blindspot too plus a few other new shows coming to our screen.

    1. I've only visited Scotland once, in October and I loved it, so beautiful and cold lol. I guess a pool wouldn't get much use :)

  6. I saw the first episode of Blindspot, and for some reason, decided not to continue. Maybe because I already have so many shows on my DVR!

Enjoy Mia...she is at that wonderful age...of course, my granddaughters at 18 are still wonderful...I guess it's a THING, loving being with grandkids.

I hope to read The Lake House next week...or the week after. So many books, so little time.

  7. That's good to hear your veggie plot is doing well. My boyfriend his parents grew some tomoatoes in their garden this year, so we got a few of them. Our balcony is too small to really grow anything. I have Menagerie pre-ordered, so I hope my copy arrives soon. I am not a fan of clowns either, but none of the reviews I read mentioned them, so I don't think there will be any clowns. I hope you have a great week!

I am not a very good TV watcher! Downton Abbey starts here next week so definitely will be geared up for that. Looking forward to all your reviews.

  20. Mia looks so sweet in the pool. I may have to check into Blindspot. But - yes, watching shows pulls away from reading. Such a dilemma.
I haven't read Kate Morton in a while - I'll be interested in your thoughts.
    Happy Reading!
