A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. I love this meme, it helps me stay on track ... well, most of the time. Thanks Sheila!
Busy, busy week. I did squeeze in a card making day with best friend Alaine. Below are a few of the cards I made, ok confession I made multiples of these three. Lets just say we were more productive solving the problems of the world lol
Have you had problems with blogger turning your landscape images to portrait? I only noticed it this morning, what a time waster, damn you blogger! Anyway, as you can see my images are now the way they should be but if this is driving you nuts the quickest way around it until blogger fix the issue is to convert your jpg image to a png image.
Go to "Open with" and select "Paint"
Once image is open go to "save as"
save a new copy of image
make sure you choose "png"
My reading was pretty pathetic, I only finished the one book because I got hooked on the audio of My Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty. Oops review books will have to wait another week ;)

DeleteI loved The Husband's Secret. I am glad you are enjoying it! I didn't exactly read what I was planning to this past week either. I got hooked on Delia's Shadow and then read some other things I was in the mood for.
ReplyDeleteI hate when Blogger has glitches. I haven't had that happen to my pictures and hopefully it won't. Thanks for the tips though in case it does!
Have a great week :)
Finished it on Monday Christina and loved it. I meant to check out Delia's Shadow so thanks for the reminder :)
DeleteOh, I adore those cards, they make me want to get making some! I notice The Husband's Secret is new into our library, I must put my name down for it.
ReplyDeleteThanks too for the tip about pictures, I hope I can file that away if I have a problem in the future!
You're welcome Kathryn. Can't wait to see what you think of The Husband's Secret, I ended up loving it!

ReplyDeleteThanks, they're my favourites too lol, and The Husband's Secret I think you'll love, it's all about the ramifications of the secret!!
DeleteI'm glad you are enjoying The Husband's Secret....after that one, I had to read more from this author, leading me to discover What Alice Forgot. I can't wait to read more!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week...lovely cards! And too bad about Blogger...they are always doing something, aren't they? I'm glad most of my sites are on WP, but I have two on Blogger...haven't posted anything there in a couple of days. I'll watch out....
Have a great week! Thanks for visiting my blog.
Thanks Laurel, I loved The Husband's Secret and What Alice Forgot is definitely on the list next. Love those Moriarty girls :)
DeleteYour cards are adorable! I love them all.
ReplyDeleteThanks Beth, you're sweet for saying so :)
DeleteI love how artistic you are, those cards are beautiful! And even one book is OK, isn't it? Audiobooks tend to take a little longer for me, because I'm such a quick reader when I read myself, and I savor having someone 'read to me' :)
ReplyDeleteThanks or stopping by earlier, have a wonderful week!
Lexxie @ (un)Conventional Bookviews
lol one book is fine if I didn't have a pile of review books I can't jump over ... *sigh* my own fault, no restraint! I'm loving getting back into audiobooks but I think I'll be sidetracked again!
DeleteBeautiful cards! Do you hand them out as is, or do they fit into envelopes? Just wondering.
ReplyDeleteI have Marie Antoinette series on my wishlist. Enjoy your week reading.
Aww thanks Rita, I make all the cards to fit in standard envelopes :)
