Linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer and It's Monday! What are You Reading? hosted by Sheila from Book Journey.
On the home front:
Busy week of appointments, my daughter-in-law (Mia's mummy) and I did a little op shopping and I had lunch with my youngest son in the city. I made Swedish Chocolate Cake (Kladdkaka) again just so I could take more photos haha ... I'll post on Tuesday so come back and drool grab the recipe.
Gorgeous weather today, we spent a lovely day catching up with Mike's family at Bribie Island and Bella went nuts on the beach.
Later in the week the kids are having an early get-away for their wedding anniversary so I'm having my granddaughter for 2 days ... what fun, I'm sure she'll wear me out lol.
#FitReaders Weekly Check-In
#FitReaders co-hosted by Felicia @ Geeky Bloggers Book Blog and Jen @ That’s What I’m Talking About. FitReaders is a great way to stay motivated, accountable and it's more fun having bloggy friends to check in with. If you also have a fitbit and want to add me, let me know :)
Check in for October thru to December is with Jen @ That’s What I’m Talking About. Even though I had 2 no exercise days I was still over my step target for the week so I'm happy with that.

Beautiful pictures! Glad you had a nice visit. I hope you enjoy your extra Mia time this week :)
ReplyDeleteI am relieved that you liked Menagerie. Maybe I'll give it a try. I liked After You a lot though it wasn't as good as Me Before You. I tried reading The Martian but couldn't get into it. I do plan to see the movie but probably when it is on DVD.
Thanks Christina. I am loving Menagerie, it seriously hooked me from the start, audio is brilliantly narrated too.
DeleteI want to see The Martian at the movies but not sure what I'll get to first, audio or movie? If I see the movie I probably won't want to read the book anytime soon.
YAY - you got on the November 9 tour, too!! I just started it yesterday and LOVE it so far!!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to start Menagerie! Glad to see you're enjoying it.

Looking forward to the reviews as they come. Have a great week reading. So envy those beach shots by the way.
Can't wait to hear what you think of the movie Kathryn, I remember how much you loved the audio. I hope you do try Menagerie, it's one of my favourite's for the year, which is saying something considering how indecisive I was about reading it lol
