Introduction Meme

Where are you reading from today? From my BF's house, there are three of us; myself, best friend and best friend's daughter. I'm the only reader at my place, my husband and boys live under a rock LOL 3 facts about me … I travelled around Australia for 12 months in a caravan when I was a teenager. I have 2 boys and an angel baby (in heaven.) I am afraid of mice How many books do you have in your TBR pile for the next 24 hours? 18 but I had to bring a choice, being at a friends place I don't have my bookshelves. Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, or number of comments on blogs)? Yep, stay awake for the whole 24 hours. 10 hours to go for us girls here in Australia. I would love to finish 6 books (not looking likely, but it's fun trying) If you’re a veteran read-a-thoner, Any advice for people doing this for the first time? Nope I'm a virgin read-a-thoner but I have definitely found it helpful to have a few childrens books to fall back on when my brain is at its mushiest!

  1. I have 4 six foot tall bookshelves that houses the majority of them, then over a dozen medium sized moving boxes worth of books I don't keep in regular circulation (books that are part of a set I read already or books I know I won't read again for a number of years). Then I also have the top two tiers of my desk filled with books, a box at my bedside with my 'TBR's' and another half bookshelf at my mom's. My non-english books are mostly stored on the top shelf of my closet.

Heh before I moved into my current house my room at the apartment was nothing BUT books--traded my bed in even (since I slept on the floor anyhow) to make more room. Dad built me a bigger room though when we moved XD
