I did the 100 + Challenge this year and will have it completed it by the end of November. I loved participating in this one, so there was no question about signing up again in 2010. The 100 + Challenge (if you don't already know) is run by the wonderful J. Kaye at J. Kaye's Book Blog from January 1st - December 31st 2010. Head on over to J. Kaye's Blog to sign up for this challenge!
Challenge Guidelines:
- Anyone can join. You don't need a blog to participate.
- Audio, Re-reads, eBooks, YA, Young Reader, Nonfiction – as long as the book has an ISBN or equivalent or can be purchased as such, the book counts.
- No need to list your books in advance. You may select books as you go. Even if you list them now, you can change the list if needed.
- Crossovers from other reading challenges count.
- Challenge begins January 1st thru December 31st, 2010. Books started before the 1st do not count.
This month on The Eclectic Reader one lucky reader can win The Running Vixen OR Shadowland OR Captive of Sin. Check this blog post for details. International entrants welcome.
I'm so doing one of these challenges. Maybe the Support Your Local Library one. I go to the library for research but I try never to check out anything because I'm rubbish at returning them on time.
ReplyDeleteAll the very best and a lovely weekend.

ReplyDeleteIt certainly helps motivate you!
ReplyDeleteI'm joining the 100+ Challenge too! :) Can't wait till it starts :)
ReplyDeleteI am in too. This one is perfect to fit all the other challenges into. :)
ReplyDeleteBoth you and Alaine are challenge enablers. J. Kaye too because she has some of the best around :)
ReplyDeleteI know I probably read at least 100 books in any given year, but dang, I have commitment issues! You're a braver lady than I am.
ReplyDeleteDottie :)
