2010 Support Your Local Library Reading Challenge

This year I started borrowing books from the library, after a 2 year hiatus so I thought this would be a great challenge to participate in, in 2010. Borrowing from the library will be a little kinder on my bank balance and my already double stacked bookshelves. Sign up for this challenge at J. Kaye's Book Blog.
Challenge runs January 1 - December 31, 2010.

There are four levels:

--The Mini – Check out and read 25 library books.

--Just My Size – Check out and read 50 library books.

--Stepping It Up – Check out and read 75 library books.

--Super Size Me – Check out and read 100 library books.

I'm choosing  'The Mini' level as I don't want to deprive myself of purchases completely :-)

This month on The Eclectic Reader one lucky reader can win The Running Vixen OR Shadowland OR Captive of Sin. Check this blog post for details. International entrants welcome.

  2. I have a feeling I'll be pushing to do this one. It means I'll have to read about 2 library books a month. That's a lot for me.

  3. This challenge sounds interesting, might give it a shot! I order books from our local library all the time, the trouble is that being such a small community, it might take months to get them in. So glad they've finally added a YA section to the library!! The Mini is all that I would have time for.
