A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. Thanks Sheila :)
What an annoying week with BLOGGER. I know many people have had their posts and comments from 12th May restored but sadly I haven't. Click on the pic if you want to see my Blogger Blooper post.
However, tonight I will repost the "Interview and Giveaway with Aris Whittier" (author of Across Eternity) so please if you have commented on this one previously you will have to re-comment as nothing of this post has been restored by Blogger!

In other news, we had a fun time at the 2011 RSPCA Million Paws Walk ~ an annual doggie walk that raises much needed funds for the RSPCA.
I don't think I'll get much reading done this week as Alaine and I are once again getting ready for a weekend of fun and laughs (and hopefully creativity) at the Daisy Chain Scrapbook Retreat. Fingers crossed I get lots of scrapping done and have pics to show next week.

Finished Last Week:
MERCY by Rebecca Lim - 5 stars ~ awesome YA from Aussie author, loved it!

This Week's Reading List:
HERE, HOME, HOPE by Kaira Rouda

I despised the ending of Bumped.
ReplyDeleteBlogger was acting weird before it went kablooey. This week I finished up the manga I had on hand. I typically read an issue over my morning cup of coffee. Come see what I'm reading this week.
ReplyDeleteI did a charity dog event today as well! I loved mine, glad to hear yours was good too :)
ReplyDeleteI've got Bumped on my list, I want to read it soon!
Please feel free to stop by my Monday here.
What a mess Blogger was - I felt sorry for all of you.... I tried commenting on posts and I couldn't and I heard some of your posts were taken down and of course loss of comments.... gah....
ReplyDeleteThe puppy walk looks wonderful - I have always wanted to do that!
I have to go see your blogger blooper post.... love that kind of stuff :)
Hope this week is awesome for you!
Your shooting picture is the best, lol, it wasn't a laughing matter for sure though.

ReplyDeleteYour dog walk looks fun.
ReplyDeleteOh, a scrapbook retreat! That sounds really nice! Have lots of fun there.
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime, you seem to have some good books lined up - if you get round to them... happy reading!
What a fun puppy walk! How neat! Love the pictures. :o)
ReplyDeleteSo, yes, you've reminded me I really really need to crack open both my copies of Mercy & Die For Me, since I have them both. Must do this soon!
Hope you have a fabulous reading week and if you get a second stop my to see what I've been reading at There's A Book! :)
Love the photos of the walk you went on. Hope you are going to scrap them!
ReplyDeleteThe Doggie Walk looked like a great time. Sorry to hear you lost so much thanks to the Blogger snafu. Almost makes you want to switch to Wordpress. Glad you like Mercy, I just ordered the next book in this series and cannot wait to read it. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI have DIE FOR ME but haven't read it yet. Which cover do you like more?
ReplyDeleteI also really want to read BUMPED but couldn't manage to score that ARC. I think it's out now, though??

Cool contest. I need to read Mercy, it's in my TBR pile. I have heard such great things about Bumped, I hope you like it! Love the cover for Here, Home, Hope. It's pretty.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and enjoy all your books!
Grrr I am so upset with blogger, nothing of mine ever came back
ReplyDeleteDay with dogs is a great day spent!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like some great reviews coming up...I'm ready!
I had problems with Blogger deleting one of my reviews too. I did find an older version in draft form (and it duplicated some of my other draft reviews too) so I was able to repost but I did lose a comment.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your review of Die For Me. I wasn't going to read this book but after seeing all these positive blog reviews and learning more about the book, I've decided to give the book a chance.
I am curious to see what you will think of Bumped. On the surface it sounds similar to Wither but I don't know if I'd like it. I look forward to your review. I hope you are having an excellent week!
