A weekly event
hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to
discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading
in the coming week. Thanks Sheila :)
A productive week
for me, although I've had to cut down on computer time with my arm, but I have an appointment with the surgeon this week so hopefully not too long to wait until
it's all fixed. Did I mention I caught up with a favourite author Katherine Howell ... you can check out my post here :)
My eldest son had his
cast removed and is now in a boot & having physio, unfortunately it was a bad
break and he has another month of no weight bearing without the boot, so that's
another month off work.
My sister and her
family were down on the weekend along with Mike's daughter and we had a fun
night at the show How To Train Your Dragon ... a terrific adaptation of the movie and just amazing what they can do with
technology.
And for the 4 day break over Easter
this coming weekend we have our fingers crossed for fine weather and a
camping trip back to The Gorge ... relaxation ++

ReplyDeleteIf you loved The Restorer, you'll love The Kingdom, Marce
DeleteOh I feel for your son! I had 6 weeks of no weigh bearing and at almost 8 weeks since I broke my ankle my movement is still restricted. The boot however makes life a lot more comfortable and showering a whole lot easier! Hope you get your surgery soon and are on the road to recovery quickly! You can check out my Monday here

Kylie, I think Anthony is grateful to be out of plaster. He's driving a little with his boot on so not quite as restricted as you've been.
DeleteI am planning on getting Power of Six at Audible soon. The Kingdom looks interesting too.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
I listened to I Am Number Four on audio and thought it was great, but I'm reading The Power of Six :)
DeleteGlad that you have your appt with the doctor! And sorry to hear about son missing more work! That play looks awesome!! LOVING the pic from it!!

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your reviews of The Bungalow and The Kings Agent (both are on my reading list!)
ReplyDeleteThanks Mystica, I enjoyed them both, The Bungalow was just lovely and an easy read. The King's Agent took more effort :)

DeleteWow! That's an amazing stage dragon. I didn't know it had been adapted to the stage.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite read this week was Stuck on Earth by David Class. Please come see what else I'm reading.
I wanted to take the children to How To Train Your Dragon but at $100 a ticket the budget didn't stretch that far, they did see the Dinosaur one last year though.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a great reading week!

My family didn't see Walking with Dinosaurs but the kids we know who've seen both shows said they were equally good but the adults said Walking with Dinosaurs was better :)
