A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. Thanks Sheila :)
A productive week for me with 2 books read (a nice change considering my efforts of late lol) 2 reviews done, some blog visiting, a weekend spent in the garden re-planting flower pots and baskets and putting in more herbs. Alaine and I are finally back to walking with our puppies, I'm committing to 3.5km twice a week to start with and hoping to build from there as my fitness improves and speaking of health; "YAY us!!" Callum and I are in our 10th week of juicing for improved health ... longest I've stuck with something in ages haha :)

ReplyDeleteI'm going to be curious to see what you make of the dirty book :-) Hope you have a great week.
ReplyDeletehahaha Ryan, I'm a bit nervous about it, reading it for book club. From the looks of reviews you either love it or hate it??
DeleteI loved Fifty Shades of Grey. It's a pretty intense series but as long as you keep an open mind I think you will like it, can't wait to read your review when you are finished :)
ReplyDeleteI saw your review Jet, I'm keeping an open mind, just hope the writing is up to par ;)

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? I'd love to have you stop by!
right back at ya Deb :)
DeleteI still haven't read Insurgent. I'm glad you loved it. I want to reread Divergent first.
ReplyDeleteI have heard of book clubs reading Fifty Shades but my book groups would not go for that. For one thing, they are library sponsored and I work in a very conservative community. Fifty Shades should make for a provoking discussion I'd imagine. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it.
Our book club is book store sponsored and conservative ... not so much lol. Brisbane is a pretty diverse metropolis!
DeleteLike all your titles.
ReplyDeleteI must read the Veronica Roth books. I'm missing out! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good week, Teddyree...enjoy your healthy habits, too.
ReplyDeleteHere's MY MONDAY MEMES POST

Christian Gray seems to be making his way around the book world! I'm curious to see how this goes over in a book club - you'll have to let us know!
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for Until I Die from the library. Here's what I'm up to.
ReplyDeleteThe Maid and the Queen sounds interesting. I find Joan of Arc fascinating. Even if the book is not all about her, I'm always looking for some good non-fiction.
ReplyDeleteI like your "this weeks" reading list. Enjoy them all.
ReplyDeleteThe cover for slipping reality is BEAUTIFUL!!!
ReplyDeleteThe 50 Shades series is certainly popular right now!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite read last week was the audio of On the Beach by Nevil Shute. Please come see what else I'm reading.
I had to read your review of Night Beach to see why you called it beautiful but bizarre. Now I'll have to pick it up so I can experience the beauty of her writing!
ReplyDeleteI am a walker myself and have taken my walking outdoors now that the weather is nice. I do my fitness walking in the morning and then take a second walk later in the day with the puppy.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and thanks for stopping by my blog!
Kristin @ Always With a Book
50 Shades of Grey, saw the author on t.v. last week. Haven't decided if I want to pick that one up or not yet. Maybe I'll decide after your review :)
