A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. I love this meme, it helps me stay on track ... well, most of the time. Thanks Sheila!
I had a lovely time at scrapbook retreat with friends Alaine, Karen (who reviews on my blog) and the rest of the Daisy girls. I only did a couple of layouts but it was really relaxing just making a pile of cards. More photos next week :)

ReplyDeleteWe felt exactly the same about Dark Horse and Saving Grace. I am really looking forward to reading Half Moon Bay this week!
Have a good one!
Shelleyrae @ Book'd Out
Thanks Shelleyrae. I know, I felt awful not liking Saving Grace but good to know I wasn't on my own there!
DeleteI do so love your scrapbooking cards. I have got an album to do my grand daughters photographs and waiting for a friend to come over to start. Something I am really looking forward to.
ReplyDeleteMystica, you'll be hooked once you start, it's a lovely way to preserve memories.
DeleteI do love to see your scrapbooking pictures, I particularly like the owl birthday card out of this bunch. But of course they all looked great!
ReplyDeleteHalf Moon Bay looks like it'll be a good read.
I hope you enjoy your reads this week :-)
My Book Bubble
Thanks Jade, I'm a bit of an owl fan so they usually feature in cards and scrapbooking and on my blog lol.
DeleteReally looking forward to Half Moon Bay :)
Someone else also posted about The Fifth Wave. I am going to look into that one.

Here's MY MONDAY MEMES POST
Not sure patience is one of my virtues lol but I do enjoy scrapbooking and card making. Thanks for visiting Laurel
DeleteI love your scrapbook layouts. Very creative!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you are enjoying 5th Wave. I am on the waiting list for it at the library.
Thanks Christina and hope The 5th Wave comes in soon, I'm sure you'll enjoy it too!
DeleteDefinitely better late than never...and March wasn't really that long ago.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your thoughts on Scarlet-such a good book!
LOL I like your thinking. Thanks for visiting!
DeleteSuch handsome sons! And I adore your cards, Sheree!
ReplyDeleteAww thanks so much Mary :)
DeleteI love your cards. They are so creative.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a fabulous week!!
Thanks Lori
DeleteWhat beautiful cards!!! When I was scrapbooking more often, I used to go to retreats - what a great way to catch up with friends and get lots done! Sadly, I haven't touch my scrapbooking stuff in about a year...I really need to change that...
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
~Kristin @ Always With a Book
Thanks Kristin, I don't get a lot done at retreats, too busy catching up with friends. Hope you get back to scrapping soon :)
DeleteIt seems a lot of bloggers are reading The 5th Wave currently. I see you're reading (or should I say listening to) The Scorch Trials - I haven't even read The Maze Runner yet! I'm so behind the times.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry I was late to read The Maze Runner and I had it sitting on the shelf for ... forever lol. Worth the wait though :)
DeleteSeeing your review for Scarlet reminds me I need to read it. I recently read Cinder. I'm currently reading The Host by Stephenie Meyer.
ReplyDeleteI've had The Host sitting on the bookshelf for years, unread but I did see the movie :) Scarlet was awesome, just as good as Cinder!
DeleteI love your scrap booking. The only book I've heard of is The 5th wave.
ReplyDeleteHere's my IMM & STS:

Thanks so much for visiting :)
DeleteYou seem to have a good talent for scrapbooking. And your boys are good looking boys! (lol, not trying to be creepy, but I also have boys that range from 23 to 33...as well as my grandchildren. Although no promises on the creepy when I'm getting closer to 80. I intend to be a creepy ol' lady. ;) )
ReplyDeleteI've had a few weeks - especially this year - where I haven't finished reading a thing. Not one thing. shrugs.
I read Cinder recently, so I'm looking forward to seeing what you think of Scarlet (I'm assuming you meant the sequel to Cinder, and not some other Scarlet)
Happy Week!
Bahaha Mardel didn't think you were being 'creepy' as far as I'm concerned you have good taste lol. not too sure about the creepy 80's though ;)
DeleteIf you enjoyed Cinder you're going to love Scarlet, no second book syndrome there!
You are so creative Sheree! your lay outs are gorgeous. and your boys are getting so big.
ReplyDeleteNot surprised you're almost finished 5th Wave. It has your name written all over it.
Have a wonderful week :)
Those cards are gorgeous. Do you do them for a side business or just pleasure? It'd take me forever to attempt that! There's been lots of buzz about the 5th wave and of course I've been wanting to read Cinder/Scarlet too. :) Thanks for stopping by my Monday post!
ReplyDeleteThe layouts are amazing and your cards are ones that I would buy boxes of!!! I need to do a scrapbook retreat soon!!! Hmmm...maybe one in Australia!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteYour cards are so gorgeous. You should sell them for sure!!
