It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. I love this meme, it helps me stay on track ... well, most of the time. Thanks Sheila!

I had a lovely time at scrapbook retreat with friends Alaine, Karen (who reviews on my blog) and the rest of the Daisy girls. I only did a couple of layouts but it was really relaxing just making a pile of cards. More photos next week :)

  12. What beautiful cards!!! When I was scrapbooking more often, I used to go to retreats - what a great way to catch up with friends and get lots done! Sadly, I haven't touch my scrapbooking stuff in about a year...I really need to change that...

    Have a great week!

  13. It seems a lot of bloggers are reading The 5th Wave currently. I see you're reading (or should I say listening to) The Scorch Trials - I haven't even read The Maze Runner yet! I'm so behind the times.

    1. Don't worry I was late to read The Maze Runner and I had it sitting on the shelf for ... forever lol. Worth the wait though :)

  14. Seeing your review for Scarlet reminds me I need to read it. I recently read Cinder. I'm currently reading The Host by Stephenie Meyer.

    1. I've had The Host sitting on the bookshelf for years, unread but I did see the movie :) Scarlet was awesome, just as good as Cinder!

  16. You seem to have a good talent for scrapbooking. And your boys are good looking boys! (lol, not trying to be creepy, but I also have boys that range from 23 to 33...as well as my grandchildren. Although no promises on the creepy when I'm getting closer to 80. I intend to be a creepy ol' lady. ;) )

I've had a few weeks - especially this year - where I haven't finished reading a thing. Not one thing. shrugs.

I read Cinder recently, so I'm looking forward to seeing what you think of Scarlet (I'm assuming you meant the sequel to Cinder, and not some other Scarlet)

    Happy Week!

    1. Bahaha Mardel didn't think you were being 'creepy' as far as I'm concerned you have good taste lol. not too sure about the creepy 80's though ;)
If you enjoyed Cinder you're going to love Scarlet, no second book syndrome there!

  18. Those cards are gorgeous. Do you do them for a side business or just pleasure? It'd take me forever to attempt that! There's been lots of buzz about the 5th wave and of course I've been wanting to read Cinder/Scarlet too. :) Thanks for stopping by my Monday post!
