My Thoughts:
I had high expectations for this one because Girl, Stolen was so damn good. The Girl Who Was Supposed To Die was good but in my opinion it didn't measure up to Girl, Stolen. In saying that I read it in one sitting on the flight from Australia to Bali so it wins points for being a quick, suspenseful read that gets the pages turning and heart racing.
I really liked Cady and Ty and the race-against-the-clock plot kept my attention until the appearance of Cady's Aunt. The Girl Who Was Supposed To Die loses momentum with the bad guys; they're flat, one dimensional and some stand out like the proverbial 'dogs balls.'
All in all a pretty good read for sheer entertainment value.

Sounds okay-I guess I don't feel so bad about missing it. Maybe I'll check it out if I can find it at my library but I won't make it a priority.
ReplyDeletestill a good way to pass a few hours, just not the complexity I like.

DeleteI read Taken by Norah McClintock back in 2009, I think you may like that one. It sounds like it has a similar feel to it.
