A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. I love this meme, it helps me stay on track ... well, most of the time. Thanks Sheila!

Reviews Coming:
THE COLLECTOR by Nora Roberts (audiobook) ~ not up there with The Witness. A bit predictable and implausible but still enjoyable, good narration by Jenna Whalen.
CORDUROY LOST AND FOUND by B.G. Hennessy ~ my boys loved Corduroy when they were little and I still love this intrepid little bear.
Looking forward to your reviews on Thornwood House and Dancing On Knives.
ReplyDeleteThornwood House was great, can't believe I hadn't come across this Australian author.
DeleteMia is beautiful! I'm so glad to see you loved Maybe Someday!!

I'm loving it Shelleyrae, probably won't get much done for a while but ... like you said, it's precious time :)
DeleteCongratulations on the birth of your grand-daughter. She is beautiful. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Pat, thanks for visiting :)
DeleteShe is sooooooooo beautiful!!!!!!
ReplyDeletelol she is, isn't she Julie ... I'm not one bit biased :))
DeleteYou are so right...babies take precedence over other things...enjoy! She is gorgeous. Here's MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES POST
ReplyDeleteThanks Laurel, I'm making the most of my time with her because all too soon, my son will be back at work and their little family will be so much busier. Thanks for visiting :)
DeleteYour granddaughter is so cute! Thanks for sharing the picture.
ReplyDeleteI downloaded the audiobook version of Code Name Verity when it was free through Sync but I haven't listened to it yet. I have a feeling it will be just as powerful (or maybe more) as reading the print version of the story.
I'll probably bore everyone with lots more pics Christina lol. I tried to get it free with Sync but just couldn't figure it out so I used audible credits ... the narration is good and I'm enjoying it so far.
DeleteThat baby is just gorgeous. You have a great skill with photography, I see. I have heard Code Name Verity is a lovely story, enjoy it and all the rest.
ReplyDeleteAww thanks Rita, I've been getting lots of practice and I'm over the moon with the photos I've taken of the little cutie pie. You just can't have too many photos I say. Only a few chapters in but I'm enjoying Code Name Verity so far, the narration is good.
DeleteYou are doing great with the camera, gorgeous photo. I am looking forward to Then Came You by Jill Shalvis arriving any day now. I won't be putting it at the bottom of my TBR pile! Have a great week and lots of cuddles.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathryn, I'm over the moon with the photos I've taken and my son and daughter in law are thrilled. They grow so quickly, it's wonderful to have these precious memories preserved.
DeleteI enjoyed Then Came You, not my favourite of the series but still good. Does Jill Shalvis ever write a bad book? lol
The Martyn one looks good
ReplyDeletehope so B, I enjoyed her last one so I've got my fingers crossed.
DeleteWhat a great wide awake shot! It may be awhile for our reading mojo to come back with these grand babies! I hope you enjoy Code Name Verity as much as I did. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nise, I know exactly what you mean ... book reviews vs cuddle time. Cuddles win lol. I'm only a couple of chapters in with Code Name Verity but I'm enjoying it and the narration is great so I'm happy :)
DeleteCongratulations again, Mia is adorable. Not sure how you are getting any reading done around her.
ReplyDeletelol Mandy, it's the reviews I'm finding hard to do, not the reading :)
DeleteBeautiful grandbaby! You've been reading what look like fun titles. Tempting!
ReplyDeleteHave another lovely, cuddly week.:-)
Thornewood House looks really good and Mia is beautiful! Congrats :)
