A weekly event hosted by Sheila
from Book Journey to discuss your reading
week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week.
I love this meme, it helps me stay on track ... well, most of the time. Thanks
Sheila!
On the home front:
Weather here has been disgusting, we're melting in temperatures
of 38 degrees (100.4F) and high humidity. Anthony, Christine and Mia have
been staying to escape the heat, so the extra Mia time has been a lovely bonus. Youngest
son and girlfriend are still having an awesome time on their holiday in
Thailand and their fish haven't boiled in their tank ... yet lol.
While chilling in the aircon we've binge-watched the first season of Scandal and OMG I am hooked ... how have I not seen this before now??

A busy
week coming up ... it's my birthday Thursday and Dad will also be visiting
for a couple of nights so we will have a full house ... not sure how much time
I'll have for reading. It's also a long weekend with Australia Day on
the 26th and I'm participating in the Australia Day Book Giveaway Blog Hop hosted
by Shelleyrae @ Book'd Out. Make sure you pop in on Saturday for
International Giveaways of our fabulous Australian talent.
