It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. I love this meme, it helps me stay on track ... well, most of the time. Thanks Sheila!

Keeping Sheila and her family in my thoughts and prayers. Sending hugs across the miles xx

On the home front:
I posted a few reviews last week. I'm by no means caught up but hey I posted. And I'm not adding much to my reading list this week as time will be limited. Another busy week with appointments and getting stuff done for my son's 21st.

My reward for being good ... I'm off to watch Game of Thrones and then Outlander and then ... that's it, I haven't been that good.

Step average was on target but I didn't take Bella for any walks and she is not happy about that!

  1. Two excellent books to read this week! I loved A Desperate Fortune (still need to read the review) and Rose Under Fire is so sad and moving.

I am currently reading Leaving Time by Jodi Picoult. I was reading it last night till almost 9 when Game of Thrones started. I was so happy to finally watch it when it airs instead of waiting till the series is out on DVD next year. I thought it was a good opening episode. Unfortunately I'll have to wait to watch Outlander since Starz doesn't have the same cable free option that HBO Now has.

  2. Great job with steps! I've been hearing great things about the Lisa Geneva book. I may need to add that one to my list. I saw so much chatter about the return of GoT last night. I feel like I've been missing out. :)

I hope you have a great week and enjoy your reading!

  7. Inside the O'Briens is on my list to read this year, if I ever get to Still Alice, that is. I'm so ashamed of myself. I haven't kept a log of my #FitReaders steps or movement this past week. Yikes! In my defense, I did get out and mow my lawn and weed-eat. That counts for something, right?

  8. Yay! Game of Thrones - Winter is coming and I for one can't wait!!

Esp now we have to wait until October for the new season of Walking Dead!

I'll be curious to hear if Liane Moriarty's earlier books are as good as her last two.

Since Sheila is off-blog right now I will post my Monday link here Brona's Books

  10. Great job getting in your steps! I'm currently reading The Diamond Conspiracy by Pip Ballantine and Tee Morris. Lovely steampunk. And the bad guy reveal was awesome (I don't read anything about books ahead of time and had no clue who it was this time around until it was revealed very early in the book).
