Dewey's Read-a-thon

What's a Read-A-Thon, you ask? Well, in the the book addicts heaven, it's a 24-hour period of time that we set aside to do nothing but read. The Read-A-Thon was started by a beloved blogger named Dewey. When she passed away, several bloggers decided to keep it going in her memory. If you would like to participate in the Read-A-Thon, Saturday 18th April but haven't signed up yet, you can find all the details here. I'm very excited - it's going to be a great day, night, day LOL.
Myself and my fellow contributors & friends from Royal Reviews will be having a sleep-over without the sleep!!
For every book I read I will be donating a book to the Border's Victorian Bushfire Appeal. One of the requirements of the read-a-thon is to regularly update your blog so please visit me and my blog this Saturday/Sunday; leave a comment, cheer me on, keep me awake. Might even have a give away??
Any lovely authors out there who would like to offer one of their treasures for The Victorian Bushfire Appeal or as a give-away on my blog please let me know ~ Hugs in advance!!
Will post more about my reading choices and activities soon. Any advice or reading recommendations greatly appreciated LOL

  5. Sounds like fun! Especially with the company.I'll be out of town part of the time, vut will check in when I get back! Good luck.

I'd do some quick, cute reads. If you like stuff like that give Anne George a try, the Southern Sisters, Mouse and Sister, crack me up. Try Biggie and the Fricasseed Fat Man by Nancy bell. One of my favorite cozy mysteries is Crouching Buzzard, Leaping Loon by Donna Andrews.
