It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. Thanks Sheila :)

Well it's been quite a traumatic week with health issues for Callum and I and while I don't want to fill up my Monday post with it all, I'd love you to keep Callum in your thoughts. Please check out my post ~  Just Plain Scared. Melanoma is a scary, scary thing and you don't have a chance if you don't get your skin checked regularly ... so please, go do it!!

I tried to keep my mind off what's coming by finishing off a couple of great books.

  2. I loved The Girl of Fire and Thorns too. One of my favorite reads of 2011. I will have to check out your review of Becoming Marie Antoinette. I have it but haven't read it yet.

I am sorry about your difficult week and I will be praying for you both. I will also be sure to get my skin checked when I go back to my dermatologist in January.

  7. Oh my. I'm so sorry to hear about everything with your son. I can't even begin to imagine. I've had a hard enough time with my own cancer scares recently that I can't imagine it with a child. My thoughts & prayers are with your family.

Hopefully despite the no good news you'll be able to squeeze in some reading and relaxation. Have a wonderful reading week and *hugs*.
