It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

A weekly event hosted by Sheila from Book Journey to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week. Thanks Sheila :)

After a stinking hot start to the week, 34-36 degrees celcius, the weekend brought welcome respite and some rain. I spent a lovely day with best friend Alaine, and Cal, Mike and I all enjoyed the movie, The Descendants starring George Clooney.

This week will be super busy and fun, I'm having my niece stay for a few days, it's my birthday on Sunday  and we have family coming to stay and I'm trying to read more than one darn book per week LOL ... not doing too well.

Yesterday I put up a post titled Across the Miles ... about one small book Bonjour 40 and how a love of blogging and reading has closed the distance between friends and places on the other side of the world ~ check it out.

  1. I wouldn't mind some of that hot weather in Ohio. :) We just had our first significant snowfall.

I will have to check out your review of Cinder. I just read it last week and loved it. I can't wait to hear what you think of The Crown. I've got that on my TBR list. I will have to add By The King's Design too. I hadn't heard of it before but I loved The Queen's Dollmaker.

I hope you have a great week and happy birthday next Sunday!
