From Escape's queen of ro-magic comedy comes a sweet,
emotional contemporary romance about the pleasures of making a wish and seeing
it come true.
When Dr Sylvia Greene makes an impromptu wish at the
Tarrin’s Bay Wishing Festival, it's the most out of character action she can
think of. Hers is not a life of wishes. Hers is a controlled life of order,
plans and preparation…of science and research and diagnosis and treatment. But
her past has been weighing on her mind, and decisions made long ago have
far-reaching consequences.
A week later, the daughter she secretly gave up for adoption
at sixteen arrives in Sylvia's small coastal town with secrets that can't be
shared. Between feelings of guilt, gossip, and a growing attraction to an
emotionally unavailable colleague, Sylvia's well-ordered life is soon thrown
into chaos. She is no longer alone, and for the first time she feels as if her
world is open to possibilities.
They say be careful what you wish for, but, for Sylvia,
the unexpected consequences may be just what the doctor ordered.

When an Aussie bushland sprite collides with Santa’s nephew on a sunny,
isolated Australian beach, the sand won’t be the only thing that scorches!
Having decided his uncle is due for a break, Santa’s nephew, Nick, takes
on the job of delivering presents and heads straight for the sun-drenched
beaches of Australia. After a cataclysmic sleigh disaster with a low-flying
Qantas airbus, Nick finds himself rounding up reindeer on an isolated coastal
stretch. When all seems lost — including Rudolph — Nick stumbles upon Chrissie,
a woman just as mysterious as he.
Chrissie is an Australian bushland sprite, sent after Nick by his uncle.
Santa has made his own decision — it’s time for his nephew to settle down, and
Chrissie’s just the sprite to fill his empty heart.
Christmas is always hot in Australia, but this year, things are really
heating up!
ONE SWEET
CHRISTMAS (novella)
Release Date: 12/2013
eBook Pages: 68
It’s going to take more than a few pieces of chocolate to fill this
Scrooge’s heart with Christmas cheer. Luckily Candice Cane has a whole shop
full...
Candice Cane is not proud of the way she acted after her last encounter
with Jackson Frost. Sure revenge was fun, but it’s left Jackson standing, angry
and looking for answers, on the welcome mat in her chocolate shop. Now he’s
after some revenge of his own.
Jackson returned to his small hometown for one reason and one reason
only...so he’s not sure how he’s ended up in a Santa suit in the middle of a
chocolate shop, at the behest of its beautiful owner, instead of high-tailing
it back to the city as fast as he can.
Jackson wants nothing to do with his small town past, but Candice shows
him what he didn’t even know he’d been missing. Can a bit of Christmas magic
heal old wounds and offer up a future neither saw coming?
Sometimes Santa doesn’t give you what you want — he gives you what you
need.
The last thing Jenn wants this Christmas to be is merry. Hibernating in
her apartment is the perfect plan for someone who has lost way more than just
her Christmas cheer. She’ll re-emerge on December 26th and move on with her
life.
Morgan has had just about enough of dancing around the sexual chemistry
between himself and his manager, Jenn. If he has his way, she won’t spend this
Christmas — or any other — alone. With the help of a bogus set of secret Santa
envelopes, he’s going to deliver a Christmas present to the woman he loves, one
she’ll never forget!
Witty, clever, and sharp. It's going to be the holiday from hell...and
that's just how Erica wants it.
When tabloid journalist Erica Parker is forced to take a holiday, she's
determined to make it the most miserable holiday she possibly can, but not even
her impressive imaginative powers could have come up with sharing a tent with
survival expert Nathan Wilde.
Nathan was a
married man with a successful TV show before Erica got to work on his life. Now
the hottest man she’s ever met is single, furious, and he’s got her alone in
the wilderness for three long days…

What beautiful reads. My favorite Christmas thing is to watch movies and play board games as a family. We are very low key and I love a day of just hanging out together... eating and being together.
ReplyDeleteSecret Santa sounds fabulous to me!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic selection of terrific titles! #
ReplyDeleteMy favourite holiday thing to do {over the Christmas period}, is to go to a gathering for our Village. It is an informal event of singing carols, mince pies & mulled wine. It is a chance to 'meet up' with people and celebrate the beginning of Christmas!!
Thank you for the giveaway x
Sounds like a fun bundle of books! My favorite thing to do is to hang out on Christmas Eve with our closest friends, eating, opening gifts, and just enjoying each other.

Spending time with the family is the best Christmas fun for me! Thanks for the opportunity to win these books, they sound delightful :)
ReplyDeleteI've started trying to make sure I bring in a few Christmas traditions with the kids, watching Christmas themed DVD's (Elf is still the favourite), baking cookies with the kids. Something I've always done with the kids that I remember doing as a child is each family member has a candle and we light them on Christmas Eve and before we go to bed we make a wish for the following year and blow out our candle. When we were kids we used to get old wine bottles (of which there always were a few) and paint them and decorate them with glitter and things. Our family all have the same tea-light candle and have used them each year. I think its always nice to look back on the things you did as a child that stuck with you.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday thing to do is turn on some Christmas music while hanging the stockings and drinking hot cocoa!
